A “THANK YOU” post!

During this challenging season in history, perhaps you’re feeling a bit like me: stressed, fearful, isolated, and/or disappointed over cancelled plans. With all the craziness going on, it may be hard to recognize the good things still in our lives, particularly the wonderful people!

Today I hope you might be so kind as to indulge my “Thank You” post, which I hope encourages you to think about the lovely friends, family, and writer/illustrator peeps in your life, as I take a moment to thank some in mine.

So let me start by thanking YOU — our fellow book-loving, always-encouraging, fantastically fun PBB readers!

All of us at PBB are so grateful that you drop by and share your kind, insightful words. I’ve learned a great deal from your helpful comments, and truly appreciate the camaraderie we share as picture book fanatics!

As a small thank you, I’m giving away either a picture book manuscript critique or Virtual Author Q&A visit with students. Your choice! Winner will be randomly selected from those who leave a comment on this post.

Second, I’d like to thank the incredible educators who are working over-time to care for and teach their students from home via eLearning (which they had to figure out basically overnight.) You are amazing!

For you hard-working teachers, here are some author/illustrator videos and resources I hope are useful!

And last, (this is the really indulgent part) I’d like to thank the writers, illustrators, and other “bookie” friends who helped me along my author journey, both the ups and the downs, and made it much more fun!

(Yes, we always dress like this!)

Thanks for letting me relive some exciting moments (from when we were out and about,) and see the smiling faces of many good friends.

I appreciate you all more than you know!
