WOW, What a Book Giveaway!

Hi, everybody. Instead of a post today, we’d like to direct you to the TeachingBooks Blog. During the month of October, they’re giving away a BUNCH ‘o books for kids of all ages, and we wanted to make you aware. Here’s a partial list to give you an idea of the fabulousness:

Feeding the Flying Fanellis, by Kate Hosford, illus by Cosei Kawa (3 copies)

The Trouble with Ants, by Claudia Mills, illus by Katie Kath (3 copies)

Romancing the Dark in the City of Light, by Ann Jacobus (3 copies)

A Prayer for World Peace, by Jane Goodall & Feeroozeh Golmohammadi (15 copies)

Elwood Bigfoot, Wanted:  Birdie Friends!, by Jill Esbaum, illus by Nate Wragg (3 copies)

Naughty Mabel, by Nathan Lane & Devlin Elliott, illus by Dan Krall (25 copies)

The Power of Henry’s Imagination, by Skye Byrne, illus by Nic George (25 copies)

Scared Witless:  Thirteen Eerie Tales to Tell, by Mitch Weiss & Martha Hamilton (5 copies)

And lots more! Here’s the link again. Go take a look, enter, and win! Fingers crossed for you.

Also, one of my books has been named to the White Ravens 2015 International Youth Library. These are 200 books chosen from countries all over the world. Pretty cool to look through the covers/titles and see how different – or similar – our children’s book are. (Mine is I Am Cow, Hear Me Moo! and is listed under Australia, where it was released at the same time as here in the U.S.)

Happy reading!
